Pageant of Progress was a special newspaper supplement published in July, 1928 by the Nellis Newspapers.  The ten-section supplement provided a pictorial overview of the history of commercial and industrial development in the communities of Macomb County, Michigan.  The sections of Pageant of Progress are divided as follows: I: Macomb County history and government; II: Macomb County public utilities, agriculture, organizations, and Selfridge Field; III: Mount Clemens history, government, schools, churches, industry and business; IV: Mount Clemens hotels, bath houses, clubs and business; V: Mount Clemens business and professional; VI: St. Clair Shores; VII: New Baltimore, New Haven, Richmond, Romeo, Memphis, Armada, Utica; VIII: Washington Memorial Park; IX: Warren, Center Line, Fraser, Van Dyke; X: Halfway (Eastpointe), Roseville.
