The Macomb County, Michigan Obituary Index has been created through the volunteer efforts of the Macomb County Genealogy Group. Entries range from 1880 to the present from many Macomb County newspapers, with complete coverage of the Mount Clemens papers from 1941 through December 2008.  However, the database is a work in progress and not all years are covered.  Indexing is continuing and periodic updates will be loaded.  The absence of a name from this database does not mean that no obituary exists; only that it has not been indexed at this time.
