This index covers selected records from Macomb County, Michigan funeral homes which have been indexed, transcribed or abstracted by members of the Macomb County Genealogy Group.  Unless otherwise noted, the transcribed or abstracted records may be viewed at Mount Clemens Public Library. If you are not able to visit the library in person, you may request copies of transcripts through our Macomb County Genealogical Research Assistance Service. (Note: Although this index covers funeral arrangements by Macomb County funeral operators, many of the individuals included were from other states and their burials often took place in areas outside of Macomb. In addition, some Macomb operators absorbed or merged with funeral homes in Wayne and Oakland counties, so the records included in this index should be viewed as having a tri-county coverage.)
